WindEnergy7, Home Wind Turbine Generator Kit Home Wind Turbine
WindEnergy7 LLC – Ohio Based Home Wind Turbine, and Solar Energy Product Manufacturer. Inventor of the RoofMill™, the first and only complete Wind/Solar Hybrid system kit. We also sell the TowerMIll™, the fist and only complete engineered Wind/Solar Hybrid system for use as a tower mounted Home Wind Turbine system.
I grew up in far west Texas, same area as the most productive wind farms in Texas. I used to work on Aermotor water windmills on the Delaware mountain ranch where I worked during the summer in high school.
This is the location of a very successful 35 MegaWatt wind farm today. My fathers ranch in Texas had productive home windmills producing water for the cattle. So, I’ve always been into windmills and how reliable they are to operate etc.

Suzlon eyes China’s wind power market
disclaimer: image is for illustration purposes only by Staff Writers Beijing (UPI) Nov 2, 2010 Indian wind turbine giant Suzlon Energy said it plans to increase its presence in China, anticipating that China will become the wind energy hot spot of the future, a company official said.
Tulsi Tanti, chairman of Suzlon, the largest wind turbine manufacturer in Asia, cited the market potential of the Chinese government’s goal of increasing wind power capacity from about 20 gigawatts at year-end 2009 to 90 gigawatts by 2015, India’s Daily News & Analysis newspaper reports.
“We are bringing the Chinese price with German technology. We are quite comfortable that we will get more business from the China market,” Tanti told DNA Monday, noting that he wasn’t concerned about competition from Chinese manufacturers.

Future of Energy | Renewable Energy | Solar | Wind
Renewable Energy Sources
Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources—such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat—which are renewable (naturally replenished). Most renewable energy comes either directly or indirectly from the sun. Solar energy can be used directly for heating and lighting, for generating electricity and a variety of commercial and industrial uses.
Nordic Yards Commence Production of BorWin Beta Offshore Transformer Platform (Germany) >> Offshore Wind
Nordic Yards, manufacturer of technologically sophisticated and innovative special ships and maritime structures, commences production today on BorWin beta, the first self-righting offshore transformer platform in Germany.
In the presence of the Minister President of the federal state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania Erwin Sellering, the Minister for Economics, Labour and Tourism of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania Jürgen Seidel and representatives of the client Siemens Energy, production work in Warnemünde began with the first steel blank cut. In close cooperation with Siemens Energy, Nordic Yards has carried forward the plans for the construction of the transformer platform since summer 2010. In the course of the project, up to 450 workers will be involved in the production of the offshore platform.
Montana bill classifies hydro as renewable energy
Montana State Senator Debby Barrett (R-Dillon) wants to add hydro-power to the list of renewable energy resources.
Montana requires utility companies to purchase 15% of their energy from renewables by 2015. Currently wind and solar energy help utility companies meet the 15 by 15 initiative.
Barrett’s Senate Bill 109 adds hydropower to the mix.
Residential Wind Power Prices
How Much Does A Residential Wind Turbine Cost?
For residential use, you will want a wind turbine system with an output of 2 – 10 kilowatts per hour, depending on the size and energy efficiency of your home, and your family’s needs. Your bottom line costs will include: turbine, tower, inverter, wiring, foundation, shipping, installation, zoning and permit fees, and more.
Urban And Suburban Wind Turbine System (turbine only, tower and installation not included) – $6,500 to $15,500
ENVIRONMENT-SPAIN: Number Two in Wind Energy
MADRID, Aug 4 , 2008 (IPS) – Spain is the worlds second producer of wind energy, after Germany and ahead of the United States, and plans to continue expanding its infrastructure so as to double its current output by 2012. But new regulations may slow this development.
On very windy days, wind energy production can supply 40 percent of Spains demand, although the yearly average is 10 percent. The largest share of electricity is supplied by nuclear plants which provide 20.7 percent of the total.
Wind energy generates 17,743 megawatts a year in Germany, followed by Spain with 9,653 megawatts a year and the United States with 8,500. Among developing countries, India is in first place with 4,300 megawatts a year, followed by China with 765, Egypt with 143 and Morocco with 64 megawatts a year.
Training Tower
Wind Energy Training Tower Video (May 2010)
Minnesota West Community & Technical College is excited to announce the assembly of the Wind Energy Training Tower on the Canby Campus. The Training Tower was set into place as industry representatives, students, staff, and onlookers gathered for this historic event. The training tower will be utilized by the Wind Energy Technology program to provide further hands-on technical instruction related to climb safety and rescue training for students enrolled in the program.
Earth 4 Energy Wind Generator Review | Earth 4 Energy
The Earth 4 Energy e-book by Michael Harvey actually has 2 sections. One section consist of Do It Yourself (DIY) home solar power system while the other section covers a residential wind generator. In this post, I am going to review the wind generator section of Earth4Energy.
The residential wind energy guide is actually in PDF file format. It starts off by explaining how we can harness the energy of wind to produce electricity which can be used to supplement our home energy needs.
